Steak Chalupa Supreme

Steak Chalupa Supreme features a deep-fried chalupa shell filled with carne asada (steak), reduced fat sour cream, shredded lettuce, their three cheese blend (Cheddar, Pepper Jack, and Mozzarella) and diced tomatoes. The Sister is currently on a Chalupa kick; having never tried them until late last year, I had her try one and now she is hooked! I have to ask what she wants from Taco Bell because I already know: Chalupa Supreme.The Chalupa is one of the most distinctively Taco Bell item on the Taco Bell menu; I haven't seen anything like them anywhere else. The main feature is the deep-fried chalupa shell which has a thin crisp, slightly oily crust while maintaining a soft pillowy interior. It's like a cross between gordita bread and a taco shell I suppose.
